Size of G1 and Kindle

Amazon Kindle: ebook reader, $359, 7.5 inch * 5.3 inch * 0.7 inch, and 10.3 ounces.

TMobile G1: Android Mobile Phone, $200 with two-year contract or $499 unlocked, 4.6 inch * 2.2 inch * 0.6 inch, and 5.6 ounces.

I often use G1 to read NYT, WSJ, and ESPN. I do not have a kindle. I do not know what advantage Kindle can offer over G1 in terms of reading experience.
